Sydney Hedderich
Biography
Sydney Hedderich is a freelance writer and reporter who delivers unique points of view in business, politics, health and lifestyle. Her work has been published in magazines, newspapers, websites, newsletters and trade reports.
She is a member of the London Writers' Society, as well as a member of the Professional Photographers Association of America (PPA).
Sydney's background in business and the arts, her interest in science, and her skills in investigation make her a quick study in areas that need to be well understood before they are clearly communicated. As an entrepreneur, she has written copy, press releases and direct-mail forms for various products she has marketed and sold to target markets across Canada. She has also delivered persuasive messages on television and before live audiences. Prior, as an analyst in financial services, she wrote loan proposals for international companies and edited a trade quarterly for bank auditors.
Sydney has a Certificate in Creative Writing through Continuing Studies at The University of Western Ontario. She completed courses in Magazine Publishing, Creative Writing, and Copy Writing through the School of Continuing Education at Ryerson University.
